What is Accident and Personal Injury?

The legal aspects of personal injury fall under tort law.  A personal injury can be caused intentionally, negligently, or by a product.  If the injury is intentional, the party who inflicted the injury has no defense. If the cause of the injury was negligence, the defendant can claim contributory negligence as a defense.

When you've been injured in an accident, at work or otherwise, certain information is needed to help process your claim more quickly.  Contact our office for a list of items you will need prior to your first consultation.  (615) 256-5003 or (615) 847-2000
